I've got the motor out of my car right now and I am in need of a new radiator. I can't seem to find an exact repoduction for mine. The L46 uses a 26" copper/brass radiator with cap on the radiator and no overflow tank.
I've checked DeWitts and they only have aluminum ones and cores, but not the whole thing in brass.
If your brass tanks are good I would take your old radiator and a new DeWitt's core to your friendly radiator shop for a little surgery, using your old tanks on the new core. About a 30-45 minute job.
I managed to find a radiator for my 70 L-46 on ebay a few months ago.(and a shroud, and a support) I was mostly interested in the tanks to do the dewitt switch as Dick suggested. When the radiator arrived, the core seemed authentic, and in good condition. If it checks out at the rad shop I'll leave it until I need to recore.
Anyway, if you keep an eye out, they do come around from time to time. Good hunting
