Does anybody recall a post about availability of 2896929 cams (new pullouts) from GM crate motors? I recall a recent post that these cams were being offered thru some Chevy dealer who was pulling them from new 350ci crate motors in due to customers preferrences for more radical grinds....
Yes, the cams involved were GM #14088839. This is the current GM replacement for the GM #3896929 and is very close in specs to that camshaft. The dealer selling them is/was Sallee-Chevrolet in Milton-Freewater, Oregon.
