I know this has been beaten to death but I searched the archives and all the companies that others have recommended either don't service the west coast (intercity, horseless carriage) or have been sold to a less reputiple owner (Passport). Does anyone have any recommendations to move a car from Ca. to Wa. State? Thanks, Jim

Re: Car transport
Jim,
Intercity is owned and operated by Dave Wilson. Many of the other national transporters have sold out to Big Business but he has not. I'm sure they would be happy to transport your car from California to Washington.- Top

Re: Car transport
Dave,
I talked with Intercity and was told that they wouldn't service a strictly west coast move. Have you heard anything about FedEx? A buddy was at B.Jackson @ Scottsdale and the majority of the transports there were FedEx.
Thanks, Jim- Top

Re: Car transport
FedX bought Bob Pass (Passport Transport) several years ago. Give them a call.

Re: Car transport
Jim,
That's surprising but they must feel the run is to short or they just don't have enough traffic on the north left coast to properly service you. Intercity is a Barrett Jackson sponsor and I'm sure they are the most active transporter at that event. I can't help you as Intercity has been the only transporter I have used. I'm sure others can help.- Top

Re: Car transport
I had the same problem last summer bringing a 58 from the Seattle area to Phoenix. I used Hog Haulers out of Portland and they did an excellent job at less than what I had expected to pay. They specialize in the west coast and their service was every bit as good as the others.- Top

Re: Car transport
Jim, You might try Exotic Car Transport out of Orlando,FL. I don't know if they will go to the West coast, but you can call and ask (407-654-9951) Their ad says "nationwide" transport. I used them for my '67 and was very satisfied.
