    Tires

Currently have standard bias ply gold lines on my 65 fuelie. Great for show but awful for driving. What is the widest tire I can mount without tearing up fenders, etc?

      Greg,
I used the Michelin Pilot M+S XGT H4 205/65 R15 on the front. Very nice tire and good room. The rear however are 225/70 which may be a little large. Would use the 205/65 all around if I did again.
These tires are a soft compound which I want for ride - not milage. Sure many others have their own opions, but take a look at these (205/65)

        Greg,

When/if you are on the Tirerack website take a look at the Michelin Harmony 205/75-25 blackwall radials. I put these on my '64 convertible last year before going on the NCRS Road Tour, they are a smooth, quiet and good handling tire, correct size too. You won't be diappointed.
