Were Corvette fixed antennas unique to Corvettes or were they also installed in other production cars, for example BelAirs and Camaros?

Re: Corvette fixed antennas
Your question is too broad to answer because it doesn't narrow the time frame sufficiently (ALL fixed antenna Corvettes)... The '53-55 cars had antennas 'fixed' in length that were embedded in the trunk lid. The power antenna used in '65-66 was replaced with a fixed length mast in '67 and this continued into the Shark era until motorized/retractable antennas re-surfaced...
In general, for the late mid-year and early Shark cars, the SAME removable, fixed length, antenna mast was used on certain other Chevy passenger cars (e.g. Camaro) IF they were equipped with optional FM radio.- Top

Re: Corvette fixed antennas
Scott,
I take it you are looking for one. One of the vendors sells a correct size ball antenna for early C-3s. I bought one for my 71 and kept the original for judging only. About the only difference is in the base where it is held on with the nut. I think the edges or square while the original were round, or maybe visa-versa. The vendor advertises them as correct size ball. can't remember who sells it. Been a couple of years ago that I bought it.

Re: Corvette fixed antennas
No, I have two or three originals but it seems often I come across someone who is looking for one. I'm not selling mine. So, I got to wondering if any of the same mast and .30 ball were installed on other Chevrolets of the same era. Many Corvettes found their way overseas as there is a love for them there, too. But parts availablilty and locale makes it extremely difficult for the owners to find parts. If you think the Driveline (for parts) is slow to get to many NCRS members here you should hear how slow it is there. However, I got the latest Driveline last week.
If you can recall the vendor (Dr Rebuild?) I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
