      Does it say anywhere on the sidewall "fiberglass belted" or "belted"? If it does, then it's not a Corvette tire. If it says ONLY "2 ply, 4 ply rated nylon cord", then it's a 68-72 Corvette tire.

                  I knew I kept it for some reason..but could not remember. Might make a nice original spare.

                      ...providing you use it for cosmetic purposes only. Any tire that old is suspect and I wouldn't do more than put it on for show.
