Paint under side of 1963 engine hood

Where is the line between the black paint and the car color (silver) correctly located? Secondly, is the line defined with masking tape or is it silver overspray on black or black overspray on silver? Thanks Doug

There's a good photo of the color break on page 98 of Noland's book; it's at the tangent point where the horizontal surface of the hood inner panel meets the vertical surface. It was blackout paint over body color paint.
