    AC Delco parts

I dont know about you guys, but it is hard is heck to find AC parts any more in my back yard. the local chevrolet dealer does not have a lot of the parts. Like A329C air filters. I have tried to find those delco shocks even stores that handel delco say they can not get me the shocks, I went to the web site an got the part numbers for the shocks. they told me those were now a another number but could not get them. I dont know what is going on with AC Delco. it is geting harder for me to find this stuff here. is it like that over ,most of the USA? are just in my small world?

    Re: AC Delco parts

I agree it is more difficult to find a full line AC Delco distributor. The mass distribution parts stores like Murrays, Auto Zone and Discount Auto parts stock private brands and only "cherry pick" the ACDelco line with only high demand items. I suggest you go to the ACDelco website, www.acdelco.com and request a list of AC Delco distributors in your ZIP code.

    Good Luck.

      Lyndon,

Not sure if it's exactly as the original, but I've seen the A329C air cleaner listed in the Paragon catalog.

That is surprising. Perhaps they are lazy? My AC Delco dealer has on-line links to depots across Canada and the USA. Here in Canada, I have obtained Delco parts from places such as Alabama and Arizona.

It isn't as the original. The paper on this one is white while the originals by AC DELCO were a yellowish. The color is a point dedcution or at least it was for me.
