1961 windshield removal

I need to remove the assembly on my 61. I have laid under the dash about a hundred times this week and have finally gotten up the nerve. I would appreciate a quick run through on disassembly. I assume the whole assembly should lift off after the removal of the end post nuts and t-bolts. Gary

There are about a dozen nuts to remove in order to get the windshield frame off.
Some are a little hard to get at.

Correct with a little bump of you hands at the top header to brake it loose

Remove the nuts/washers from the "T' bolts...Remove the Kick-Panels...reach up inside the square cut-out under the dash pad,using a universal joint wrapped in tape (or a flexible 1/4" socket driver) and remove the 2) 1/2" nuts each side.
The windshield frame assembly is ready to remove. The (8) 7/16 "T" bolts are mounted with wire harness clips...keep track of them.
Best to check out if the windshield lower tabs have been welded...if not have them welded before you reassemble.
