C2 fiberglass color on body panels

I recently saw a '67 on a lift and the underside of the floor pan and fender wells were the expected dark gray color, but the left rear fender panel was a light pink with raised numbers 3797019 on the inside. Can someone tell me the origin of a panel like that? Thanks, Steve

I know pinkish glass was used in 64 and on into 65 on and off. Never noticed any on 67s..

never seen pink on original, unmolosted midyears. have seen and ordered midyear panels that were chevy over the counter critters that were pink and also green as well as the original tan ,light grey and dark grey typical of original production-installed midyear panels.. suspect the pink panel replaced an oringinal dark grey original panel on the 67 in question. mike
