Need C3 trans mount part # + info

I need a new transmission mount (rubber/steel brick) for my '70 M21 transmission.

I've purchased two different mounts from two different vette suppliers and they both say "made in Korea" on them. Neither supplier offered this info. in their catalogs before I ordered.

Is there a source for a genuine GM mount or at least an American made one? If so, I'd like the part # if it's a GM.

The original mount for your application was GM #3913498. That piece was discontinued in May, 2000 and replaced by GM #22188495 which is identical. That part was discontinued about a year ago. You might still find a few of those around. Beware, though: the GM #22188495 carried a GM list price of about $150 at the time it was discontinued. So, be prepared to pay at least that much if you should find one.

As far as I know, all of the aftermarket mounts are currently foreign-sourced. That does not necessarily make them bad, though. Who knows, they might be better?
