Re: C2 Bucket rebuild
Installing the motor is a little difficult because you are working upsidedown. Take your time, use a mirror. The motor should slide into place, you may have to align or turn the bucket so the shaft will slide into the motor.- Top

Don: This is one operation where dyslexia would be a BIG advantage!
Couple of hints: first, be sure to put a bolt in your hood prop hole for safety. second, tape plastic sheeting to the forward surface of your hood to protect against scratches. next, if your other motor is installed, pretend you're Helen Keller and FEEL how the various features are positioned. That will help as you guide the motor into the proper orientation. As Bob has said, you normally do have to jiggle the bucket a bit to get the pivot lined up with the slot in the motor driven gear. Don't forget the retainer clip.
I've also used a mirror, but doing it by "feel" has worked best for me since I don't have to flip everything mentally.- Top
