Hello, I recently ordered the correct size rivets, length and width, for the spare tire carrier strap and it seems the holes may have been drilled to a larger size. I manage to compress the rivets yet they only seem to "fill" the hole. I think the holes may have been drilled to accomodate the nut and bolts I removed. I realize the diamater of the rivet is 3/16 and logically it would seem it would require a tight fit. It appears my holes are too large. Thanks for your help.
