I started tearing apart my dash board and I'm having trouble removing the center fiberglass panel that is home to the heater controls, clock, radio. I removed all contols, both bezels, and side panel. Do I have to lift the whole dash itself? Or am I missing something? I bought a replacement so I also have to install it.

That panel doesn't unscrew. It's bonded to the dash and to the floor.- Top

George...
Use a shape wood chisel & hammer the bottom seam from the inside of the console, it will break the exisiting bonding compound and pop out. Also (check) you will need to rivet the driver side plate on your new console before you install it.
I used eckler's bonding adhesive for the strength in provides.- Top
