Corvette part #??

I recieved this with a bunch of corvette parts, is it a corvette part? #3994428, about a 4" round housing? Thanks to anyone that can help.

1980 Price Book calls it out as being

in Group 6.152, but none of my Corvette parts books even show that as a Group.

Prices out at $13 list in Jan 1980

in the GM Canadian master price list; but like Loren, can't find in any of my Chev P & A 30 catalogs, nor is there the group that he mentions. Maybe Pontiac or some other GM line, and the number sequencing is after approx. Jan 1970.

GM #3994428 is a steering wheel hub extension applicable to 1976 Corvettes with tilt/tele wheel. It was discontinued from SERVICE without supercession in July, 1983.
