    C3 1979 tach

    Just bought a 79 with 6000 original miles. The only item not working is the tach. Any suggestions on where to start trouble shooting the tach? Thanks Tom

      Tom-----

      About 90% of the time the problem will be broken leads on the tach filter. The tach filter is located in the engine copmartment. Check your AIM for it's exact location.

              Hey Tom,
              I had problems with my tach on my 75", I changed my tach filter,and that didn't help. Pulled the tach out and the print-board was replaced with a new print-board from ECKLER'S #1075, but the tach didn't work.

              I talked to a gentleman by the name of John, he makes these print-boards and I followed the instructions and BAMMMMM, it works.
