    Fuel injection starting problem

I have a 70 Corvette with a TPI engine from a 1990 Corvette, 350 ci. My problem is its very hard to start, it cranks but will not start, when it does start it will somtimes backfire a little when driving ( down hill ) ( timming ? ) but if I shut it down, it will not restart unless it sets for about 10 min. I have changed the pick up in the dittributor and the module, also replaced the computer. It does have good fuel pressure. and plenty of spark. Has any one else had t a problem like this, that can help. Thanks, Vince..

Do you have the full FI system from the '90, including ALL sensors, original computer etc, or is it a Kluge setup from a hot-rod shop?
