Brent Furgeson

I regret to post that long-time NCRS member and past Judging Team Leader, Michael Brent Furgeson was laid to rest this afternoon at Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Brent passed away as a result of cancer. I attended his funeral and noted that on display was a scrapbook of happy times with Corvettes and Corvette friends. Many of his hat pins were also displayed; his favorite an original owner's pin. Brent was only 48 years old. The Corvette "world" and especially his friends in NCRS will sorely miss him. We have suffered a tragic loss!

Brent as one of my favorite people within NCRS. He was always willing to assist, and had a great attitude about the hobby. He will be missed. Adios, my friend.

There were none finer than Brent. I had the pleasure of knowing him for many years, and even kept his car at my home last year after Bloomington. I'm sorry to loose a wonderful Corvette friend.
