Horn Works

Has anyone used Horn Works in Wisconsin for purchasing rebuilt horns outright or for restoration of their own horns? They seem to be "fairly reasonably" priced in comparison to some quotes I've gotten.

Gary did a set of non-functional horns I got off of Ebay for our '62 that came out beautifully and work well. He preserved the date codes and everything. I don't have access to pics here at work but I was really happy with them. I think he said they were the last set of C1 diaphragms that he had, so hopefully you're doing midyear horns. He was great to deal with and turned them around rapidly. Two thumbs up!

I purchased two correctly dated '65 restored horns from him a couple of years ago. I was very satisfied and would recommend him to anyone. Also two thumbs up.

They did mine a couple months ago. Outstanding work and a 10 day turnaround time. Most of important, they sound great. PT
