Screwed-up eBay description

An eBay jackass called this part an original '62 Corvette front sway bar in his auction description, but it's obviously a later part.

The .875" diameter should help narrow down the true original application. However, I still need help. The only "later" Corvette I own is a '63. Its front bar is .750" diameter. What models used a .875" diameter?

1965-69 Corvettes with big block and standard suspension used a bar that was approximately 0.875" in diameter. However, from what I can see of this bar, I'm not sure that's what it is. The "turned in" end section (after the 90 degree bends) appear to be "flattened". At least, that's how it appears to me in the photo which is not of very high resolution. The Corvette bar did not have this configuration. It's possible that some of the 75+ bars may have, though, but I don't know that any of them were 0.875" OD.

Joe, the ends are angled the same as my '63 sway bar. In fact, all dimensions appear identical to the '63 part except for the bar outside diameter.
