Help with '66 Hubcap I.D. and Pricing

Hello - My '66 presently has knockoffs that I'd like to replace with bolt-ons. What identifications should I look for to determine the hubcaps I've found locally are correct? P/N? Date Code? Other markings?? (My car was built in early May '66.)

'Sorry, but I only have a '67 judging manual since I eventually plan to replace the '66 with a '67.

Also, any ideas on a reasonable price range depending on condition would be a greatly appreciated.

    Best Regards,
    Bob S.

You're lucky...'66 wheel covers are pretty common as they were used by service as functional replacements for '65/66 for quite a few years after the production run. There's no date code or part ID that can be seen once the cap is installed, so go by appearance and find a nice set of used originals. Understand, that having original wheel covers that are dented or 'curb marked' professionally restored can be pretty pricey, so I wouldn't hesitate to pay a few dollars more for a pristine used original!

      Bob,

NOS '66 hubcaps come up for sale in the Driveline and on e-bay. I haven't followed the prices for a while, but when last I did the going rate for an NOS setof 4 was between $500 and $600. NOS singles can bring $100. Used prices vary a lot depending on condition.
