Need help on engine codes.....

I've seen two different stamps on the 68 L-89 engine suffix IU, one has a tail on the U, the other does not, now I'm confused as to which is which.

My "U" of the "IU" has no tail. Hope yours isn't one of the phony ones. :-) By the way, it looks like now "IOU". "I" email "U" soon about the brake handle (got it). TBarr #24014
