    C -1 Steering Box

In the past there has been much discussion about the positives of filling the steering box with grease rather than 90wt oil. The primary benefit being a reduced potential for leaks ( heat changing viscosity, etc.) In one posting sometime back there was mention of a grease fitting that was supplied in a rebuild kit that could be used in place of a cover plate bolt to allow filling from the bottom up. I have looked thru the various catalogs and find no mention of a fitting and I have looked in many auto parts house without success. Most fittings are fine thread and what is needed is a 5/16 course thread. Does anyone know where I might find such a fitting?

    thanks
