I picked up a generator/alternator bracket arm at a swap meet and could use some help with the ID. From photos it looks awfully close to one I need. The number is 3760364.

Applications of the GM #3760364 generator brace are as follows:

1) 1955-56 passenger car, light truck and Corvette with 265 V-8 except 40 amp

2) 1957 passenger car, light truck and Corvette with V-8 except 2X4;

3) 1958 passenger and light truck with V-8, except 2X4, 45-50 amp;

4) 1959 passenger with 283 V-8 except 45-50 amp;

5) 60-62 passenger and light truck with 283 or 327 V-8 except 50 amp and alternator equipped
