On E-Bay right now is a real deal original Air Cleaner for a 56 to 57 Corvette, The real one has the bottom area painted a gray color like this one and has the three spot welds at the wing nut area and not the ( wrong brass sleeve) you see on many repro's. 55 was the same but for the choke reset which was not in a 55.
