    Hey Duke, more CJ-4 oil "stuff"

    Duke and all interested in CJ-4 oil updates, go to www.heavydutytrucking.com and they have an update on CJ-4 diesel oils. Another neat magazine for us dieselheads. It's in the April '06 issue.

      Do you have a specific link? I could not find anything recent on oil from the home page link you provided. The "current issue" is only an index to the 4/06 issue articles, none of which have online links.

          Try going to the bottom of their homepage and searching in the archieves for CI-4. Once you're in...then select 2006 at the bottom of that page and the article he's refering to comes up.

              The good news is the article predicts CI-4s will be available through 2010. At this time is appears that CJ-4s may not be as good for our vintage engines as CI-4s, but, in any event, they will likely be superior to the current SM and future S-rated oils.
