1963 Z06 brake booster

Hello all,

I'm looking for a brake booster for the restoration of a 63 Z06.

From what I can find, the part number is 5462110.

If anyone has any information on where I might find one, it'd be greatly appreciated!

Since Dave recently sold his original-owner Z06 at B/J, he has begun to sell off a lifetime supply of new and used C2 / '63 / Z06 stuff. I don't recall if he had a booster on the list, but it seemed like he had everything else.

Go to the User Profiles, find David's name (wait for it), and send him an email.

The 5462110 that you mentioned is the correct part number for the 63 PB booster for both Z06 and regular production power brakes. The Z06 does not use a unique booster so a correct booster from any 63 Corvette can/will be correct for Z06.

Finding the booster by part number will be near impossible though. It will be easier to identify by it's tab number 2574.

mike is correct in that the ZO6 and non-ZO6 63's used the same PB booster. also correct in that the booster is very rare and salty. i once took a booster off a 63 buick(to get the diaphram for my 63 with PB). the buick booster was identical to the 63 vette with the exception of the mounting brackets(which could be fabricated to fit the vette). mike

Thanks Gordon, I hope this does not get me in anymore trouble with the Board but I wish to let everyone know that one person stepped up and bought my entire collection. Thanks everyone for 27 years of NCRS excitement and 42 years of enjoyment of owning a great car.

I know own a 2006 Z51 and have a 2007 Z06 on order, life is great.
