1982 Corvette

Hello, I am a new member as of 4/5/00. I have been a Corvette fanatic my whole life. Since I just joined, I don't know if this is the correct form to ask this type of question, but I have one question and I would like some opinions. QUESTION: Why can't I find an original low mile (30,000) or less 1982 BLACK Corvette with a charcoal interior I have been looking for a 1 1/2 years now?

OPINIONS: How much would you pay for this car?

There is a beautiful car on Ebay right now #301289068. I read the EBAY discussion the other day. What do you guys think? How much would you pay? I read in a discussion the other day where someone bought a low mile "82 Collector for 11K last year and sold it for 11.5K this year.

Any help would be greatly appreciate.

My reference documents show the colour combination you are looking for to be available as regular production, so I guess sooner or later one will show up.

Regarding pricing, I think you will find plenty of references to this in the archives, with links to different sites that can give you ball park prices.

My personal opinion for buying cars on eBay- you would have to be nuts to buy ANYTHING involving that much money sight unseen. Use it to give you leads on potentially nice cars that are worth the trip to GO and SEE and HAVE INSPECTED.
