Group discount for Crower rods.

I am trying to put together a group order for Crower 327 small journal connecting rods. Crower does not stock these and they are extremely hard to find. They said they would make a special order run for me, but I need several others to place an order. Right now the cost is $563 for a set of 8 small journal 327 stroke, press fit, cap screw, sportsman connecting rods. If I can get 15 orders, the price drops to $450 a set.

Anyone with a 62, 63 or 64 327 should strongly consider purchasing a set. Duke Williams has mentioned many times that the early rods are weak and run a high risk of cracking and failing. I have also seen this to be true.

'65 too

The second design with the hump of material did not go into production until at least '66, and if they pass Magnaflux, they should be okay to use up to 6000, but the Crowers certainly offer durability insurance, even on a 300 HP engine.

ALL the mechanical lifter 327s have the early design, which is a failure waiting to happen.

I'm glad you are arranging this next order..lol I don't know if you are working with Dustin or Brian but they told me as long as they get an order for 15 sets of rods total, they don't care if they are for large journal, small journal, strokers or for Fords, etc. Hope this helps.
