I need a new clutch re-build for my 66 L-36 4-speed. Everything from engine to trans, to read end is factory. What replacement parts do you recommend for this job. I've had a more than few hi performance shops speak highly of LUK clutch parts and one or two Centre-Force brand products.
You've gotten good advice already. I would go with either the LUK replacement unit for your application (11 inch, 10 spline disc) or the Centerforce I.
I have had the LUK replacement in my 67 L36 for almost five years and 12,000 miles with no problems and no complaints. I think you would be happy with it.
