233 Master Cyliner

I removed this "233" master cylinder from a 61 that looked like it had been orginal equipment. Can someone help identify it...?

Thanks...How about that, a bubba installing 54-55 parts on a 61....! A least I will not trash it as a passenger car part.

Understand, though, that all we're talking about here are "nuances" of configuration. Functionally, this master cylinder will work just as well for a 1961 Corvette as a 54-55.

Joe, weren't there differences in the use for the MC with LARGE size 233 and the small size 233. I seem to recall that the large numbered MC was used in same era passenger cars? My '56 has the original MC and it has the small 233 numbers, meaning all of the numbers are the same size.

That distinction (small vs. large numbers) applies to the "022" master cylinders.
