    1963 steering problem

When turning the steering wheel full right or left the rear inside edge of the tire will rub on the frame. Where did I go wrong?

    Thanks for any help!

What is your wheel size, offset, and tire size.

Unless you're running the OE wheels and 6.70-15s a little frame rub at full lock is not unusual and does not represent a safety issue since you only engage full lock at parking lot speeds.

      Thanks Duke

I have installed the tires P205 75 R15 that were on the car when I purchased it. The only thing I have changed is to remove the Western reproduction knock-offs and install original 63 wheels with the hub caps.

      Again, Thanks
