C1-brake hardware kit

Per the service manual there should be different colored springs(rates) in each corner. Yet the kits I see only have one color. How much of a difference does this make and are the correct kits available?

different colors indicate different spring extension rates . generic over the counter spring sets , although one color, will do just fine for the average corvette, assuming you won't be autocrossing or road-racing your c-1. if you're racing it, even the original springs didn't hold up well under the influence of Dr Dick Thompson's brake pedal.mike
