    4815 holley

A friend spotted a Holley list 4815 carb at a swap meet. It has the same base as my 3814, k19 Holley from 1967. It has the pipe on the base that sticks out from the right rear corner of the carb. The date is 221. It has no part number on the air horn. Does anyone know what this fits? Thank you in advance Dale

        Dale -

Most likely '72; Holleys after that had 4-digit date codes.

Would this carb be a good spare? Is it the same CFM as the small block 3418? The base appears to be the same. I dont need it but it might be good for parts or a spare as there will never be another one made. Any help or ideas along these lines will be appreciated. Dale

              Dale,

The 4815 is a 4150 generic with a secondary block and different fuel bowls, fuel inlet, then your 3814 (a 4160). It wouldn't be a good spare. The closest to your 3814 for parts or a spare is the 3810 (almost identical except for the throttle body and primary block). Best match for parts would any of the 3800 series 4160's. Also pretty close is a 3367, 3605, 3606, 3139-1 and 3140.
