Mine is the one in the second row from the front, far right side. I'm the 18 month old strapped in the car seat. LOL

Check out the 57 Chevy's on the very far right side.

Imaging the look on their faces if you could have driven into that parking lot with a brand new 2006 Z06 back then.

Don't know about the others on this Board BUT if I walked into a parking lot today and there was a fully/properly restored 57 Chevy and a 2006 Corvette next to one another - I wouldn't even bother looking at the corvette.

        Here was my '57...

but I sold it 10 years ago. The engine was long gone, as well as the power top. It was a basket case. I didn't know much about '57's at the time, but I did have some people look at it at shows, who told me it probably was a fuelie.

One giveaway were the two unfilled holes drilled on top of firewall, just below the passenger side wiper blade. They told me the holes were drilled to attach a solenoid or switch for the fuel pump. Does that sound plausible? PT

Vote no. 2 for non-plausible. There are differences between a fuelie and a carbureted 57, but that's not one of them--that is non-stock on both variations.

Re: 57: Did your car arrived just now?

1968 found my 57 in a junk yard in Southern Ca, Called "Chevy only" Paid $150.00 Brunnos's Corvettes in Hollywood just made a front end mould to repair 56-57 Corvettes and offered to replace mine for cost so that he could get experience.
I was there looking for a 55 Nomad Radio and parts that Gen Smith owned in Burbank Ca. His wife ran a stop sign and damaged the front, I gave him $300.00 for it. I attended many NCRS meets back then and judged many 56-57 Corvettes.
Not many people then ever knew or saw a 57 FI, Automatic, Power windows, and the power top, many times ran the battery down showing them how it worked . I was the GU GRU in those days on PT.. I sold it about five years ago and made a little more over the $150.00 I paid.

I must say mine was a little better condition back then, but that's how many old time NCRS guys learned, we drove to each others garage to compair.

if they are circuit breakers, i suppose roy's calling them fuses is WAY closer to correct than my calling them relays. That's why roy is #1 poster----"Roy's My Boy".. mikie

"40 Amp Circuit Breaker"= or to me a fuse if it brakes= (breaker)
