Quick question here... When talking about Corvette Wonderbar Radios, is it correct that if I buy a 59 radio that is will be exactly the same as a 60? Or if I buy a 62 for my 61 then it will be the same? So in other words, 59-60 are EXACTLY the same and 61-62 are EXACTLY the same? Thanks, just wanted to make sure before I waste my money.
1961 and EARLY 1962 Wonderbar Radios are the same. In mid '62 the transformer was moved from the left side of the case to the rear so as not to interfere with the cowl vent lever. The later 1962 Wonderbar is a one year only model.
Thanks. I have an original 61 Wonderbar... The biggest thing with those year was is that I want to make sure that the face plates are the same with 61-62. I'm thinking of getting rid of it... Thanks for the help!
The 61-62 are different than the 58-60 by means of the knobs. The Knob on the right hand side has a larger hole in the escutheson than the left.Other than that, I know of no differences other than the knobs them self.
