C1 Clock restoration

Just curious to see what you recommend...and who to send it to. I see quite a few people have gone to quartz movements while others have the original restored. Since I'm new at this would the NCRS guys want to kill me for putting a quartz movement in a 1954? Is an original restored very rel;iable? I just remember as a kid it was expected that whenever you got in just about any car the clock didn't work.

IMO he does excelent work at reasonable costs. I would not change the movement to quartz. It's too valuable for such shenanigangs. Were a wrist watch if you really need to know what time it is. You wouldn't get out of bed and run out to the garage for the time, would you?

Clocks by Roger has been awfully good to me! www.corvetteclocks.com He's not cheap. But, quality work never is!
