    c2:67 Dale, 3810 Throttle side

    Dale,

Per your email, attach is a pic of the throttle side of a 3810 in place.

Your 3814 throttle plate assembly I believe is identical to this, except that it has a larger vacuum port (for the AIR) on the other side. The Holley part number for a 3814 throttle plate assembly is 12R-3716A. It comes as an assembly with the base plate and throttle shaft. You can get the throttle shaft but it is very difficult to replace with the teflon bearings.

The linkage setup is for a 4 speed manual. If you have Powerglide, the setup is different with 2 springs and you use that lower knob.

I'd be interested in that 67 fuel pump if your friend has another. I have my original but it is shot, and they are non-repairable parts. They used to just throw them away.

      Roy,

I love my Vintage Air System. Driving across the Mojave Desert from Flagstaff a few weeks ago it performed well, my 67 didn't go over 200 degrees, mostly stayed 180-190 with the vintage air blasting.

The one drawback is the air flow with everything on the bottom. I correct this by pulling the defrost control but not all the way. I'm also going to modify the radio side vents to push the air up, one of these days.

That's a good idea I never thought of "the vent" I'll do that too. Also love mine,I put it in my self, had trouble with the dash cables and the clove box clearing at the back , other wise not that hard to install. Thanks

Jerry, Thanks so much. That Holley linkage looks like the List 3814 that I have. I was worried that the little connector for the powerglide on the bottom of the throttle arm made it wrong. I am good shape with the correct Carb. I will email you a picture of mine . thanks again Dale
