There are VERY few parts available from Delco for points-type distributors. Most of those available are maintenence-type items (points, rotor, cap, vacuum control, and drive gear). NONE of these items are actually manufactured by GM or, even, DELPHI; they are all out-sourced components.
There are replacement shafts available on the market. I believe these are manufactured by High-Tech Innovations. The only problem is that while there were once a whole range of shafts with different autocams brazed to the top, the replacement shafts are more-or-less "generic". There are only 2 shafts available; one for 62-74 "standard" applications and the other for "high performance" applications. So, without an original shaft (and autocam), you have to have the distributor re-curved to achieve the original centrifugal advance profile. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
