C2 no wipers, headlamp motors, directionals

Have a 67 327/350 coupe and all at once the wipers, headlamp motors and directionals will not work. My flashers, parking lamps, headlamps interior lights, heater and radio all work. I have changed all the fuses in the box to no advail. Have ordered the service and wiring manuals from the NCRS but figured I drop a line and ask techinical for some help if any else has encountered this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am leaning towards the 40 amp breaker. Suggestions?

Just a hunch, but you might have lost your ground that attaches to the driver's side of the radiator support, inside near the top. That acts as the ground path for a lot of things. Good Luck!

That happened to me. Check the two large fusebox connectors on the engine side. The outboard one on my 1967 has loosened up somehow. I cleaned all the contacts, coated lightly with dielectric grease, and reinstalled.

I think Paul is correct. I had the same think on my 66. Pulled the connections cleaned them up and all is well

Mine has been fine since the cleanup job. I had the same thing happen with the connector on my ignition switch. It worked loose after some work on a stereo and I lost all power driving down the road; very unnerving. The plastic locking tabs (hooks) went somewhere (?) and now the connector is held on by small dabs of JB Weld. Sounds Bubba but it works.
