879 - per GM Canada records (Restorer Vol 18 #1)

This issue lists Canadian Delivered Corvettes from 1953 (none) to the late 1980's.

if so can we break down that number for both coupe and convertible ?

        coupe ?
        and

Get a copy of NCRS, Restorer Magazine, Volume # 18, Issue # 1. The club's merchandise center in Cincinnatti sometimes has left over copies of older club publications. If this isn't one, then you'll have to find a fellow club member who can give you his or make a photo copy. Plus, if you buy the CD-ROM 'kit' from NCRS (The Corvette Restorer), you get ALL of the club's past publications...

            Fank,

Why not call GM Canada in Oshawa? They'll have all the poop.

Mike's link is best approach -- '67 example

The 879 is the total for both 1968 body styles.

From an information sheet obtained from the GM source that Mike W. has listed, I have an examle of a 1967 Canadian-delivered coupe. We know from the RESTORER issue Vol 18 # that 396 1967 Corvettes were imported into Canada. From the sheet I have (was requested in 1988) they say that the coupes total was 201 (or 51%). This compares to overall St.Louis production of 37% coupes. Blame it on the colder weather.

Probably the same pattern would continue into 1968, but you'll have to enquire. If your car was originally shipped to Canada, this is money well spent.

P.S. if yours is a British Green / black vinyl base engine 4-speed convertible with redlines 3.36 posi and hardtop, I have about 1/3rd of your original tank sticker. Late car (order rec'd 05-29-68, exp. date of production 07-19-68)
