C3-TCS System - Temp Switch Plug Part #?

    Hi,

Have a '72, 350. 4sp. Can anyone provide the GM part number for the Temp Switch PLUG for the Temperature Switch of the TCS system. This is located on the right side of the engine block above the #8 spark plug. Need to find a replacement plug and the part number might make it possible to get an aftermarket part. Thanks!

I can't give you the part number, but if you have a salvage yard near you -- it is the same connector used for years for GM turn signal flashers. There is likely hundreds of them in any good sized yard.

Or, contact a vendor such as Eagle Wire. I've found them quite willing to sell pieces of a harness so you can perform your own repair. Lectric Limited will rarely sell you an end.

If it is like my 71, the part is only $10.00 from most vendors. Corvette Central sells them, It comes with the blue green wire and connector. Its in the rear of there book. You can also get the sending unit. The plug clips into the main harness, just follow the wire. I had mine off this weekend as I was putting the shielding back on.
