    '59 package tray installation

I'm installing a package tray, and the PT support has the holes predrilled, but the tray does not. The manual is FAR too difficult for me to understand. I cannot tell where or how the right side supports are supposed to be located. I looked through the Corvette Restored CD and found nothing. Is there help somewhere else?

    Paul...

On a 60-61-62 the right "L" bracket mounts with the kick panel screw, (second one in from the door). The two "L" brackes are then screwed together.

Best use a spring nut ("J"/"U" nut) to thread the screw into the mounted "L" bracket.

Left side "L" bracket is screwed into the bottom of the dash.
This should be the same for your '59.

    Hope this helps...

      Thanks, Peter
