Black out or undercoating 1963

Was there any black-out paint or undercoating in the front parking light area on a 1963?

You might want to specify whether you

are talking about the wheel well side or the grille side of the parking light as far as coverage. The short answer to you question is "Yes".

I am referring to under the wheel well, the reverse side of the light.

The wheel wells were hit with both black out and undercoating. Coverage varied dramatically based on how much of a hurry workers were in on a given day, specific vehicle...

I'd wonder why the painter decided to 'waste' paint and go that far forward, but conclude it 'could' have happened and give the benefit of the doubt to the owner...
