have 57 even I have owned for many yrs. I'm not sure if it is correct yr. so what yrs. top would correct for a 57 i mean did they make diff.top for those yrs. i would like to have anew one installed, live in central Ilinois any ideas as to who or what company to by from. also i probably need some hardware parts in addition to the top itself thanls for any imput

There are others more informed than I but I will attempt to answer your questions. I am not aware of different types of convertiable tops. Most people replacing their tops get them from Al Knoch. The normal corvette suppliers use Al Knoch's tops. Google Al Knoch and you will get his web site. He does installation at some shows. However I assume a lot of people buy the top and install it themselves like I did. I'm in central Virginia and I would not know who to go to that I would trust to install a top so I did it myself with my wife's help. Al makes a video and with ST-12 it can be done with great results. There are lot's of posts on the achieves. The normal suppliers sell trim peices. I think a lot of these are made by Trim Products.

Talk to Coffman's....as I now understand they supply their frames to other suppliers such as Al Knoch's.

Steve Gave you the name of Coffmans. He is a manufacturer of replacement top frames. Shulley's is the name of another. I ended up getting a Shulley's frame when I ordered one from Paragon. Also parts for frames I gather can be bought from Shulley's and Coffmans if you only need a part to repair your frame. Hope all this helps.
