    1966 Judging Manual

Question: On page 51, item 9. Fuel Filler Area, The third sentence reads "the emblem (insert) consists of the crossed flags.....on a WHITE BACKGROUND.....My car has a grey background. I don't remember ever seeing one with a white background. I guess I never read this sentence very closely before until I was questioned at a recent chapter judging meet. Can anyone clarify for me what this is saying or referring to?

    Re: 1966 Judging Manual

Kent, The manual is wrong! That's why it's a judging GUIDE. There are many items in the guides that are wrong. You're gas cap cover should be chrome around the outside, with a central grey circle w/ cross flags. Just outside the central circle should be a band with radial lines going around the circumference. Your sure you're not reading the 63 manual?
