C1 lock sets and keys

Are all the locks keyed alike on a '59, or is the ignition coded differently from the doors, trunk and glove compartment. I can't remember from my 1960 of 35 years ago: Age does that. Any help would be appreciated as it's time to fix Bubba's handiwork on the locks.

I believe up to the 64 model year that one key fit all the locks. On my 62 one key fits all.

On my 61, the octagonal key fits the doors and ignition. The rounded one fits the glove box and trunk. I concede the possibility that this may have been "bubbaed," as well, but I think the owners manual for mine indicates this is correct.

All locks were coded for a single key until the two key system emerged in '65...
