I have so far identified 3 different styles of the 1968-69 L88 hood. Has anyone seen any others? You would think with a production run of under 200 units, that one style would have been enough!
A) The air chamber and hood supporting frame are one piece. The support at the back of the scoop is 1/4" thick and a straight piece. The support frame only has the mounting for the 1968-71 length prop.
B) The air chamber and hood supporting frame are two different pieces. The support at the scoop opening is a 1/8" zigzag piece of fiberglass. The hood support frame only has the mounting provision for the 1968-71 length prop.
C) same as "B" but the hood support frame has provisions for both the 1968-71 and 1972 hood props.
Any thoughts on this?
