    Re: c1side molding

Just fought the ones with nuts on the inside. For the ones with no access from the backside, I used plastic press in fasteners from a hardware store. The shaft is made to push in but not pull out. It's a flat round head that can be cut to fit inside the trim. I don't know about getting the trim back off if needed. They worked well for me.

May also want to grind the head of the clip that goes into the molding. Some of the aftermarket clips will distort the molding when tightened.

        Greg,
Rob makes an important point. I recall the original screws that hold the blind clip tothe flass fender is a slot screw. Best file the screw head down to a point where the slot is just enough left to turn the screw. If he screw head is to high, when you snap the trim over the clip the head of the screw will "ding" the under side of the trim and that will show! Don't ask me how I know! Go slow, good luck, Regards

I had the same the same experience. Put on a complete NOS set of trim on a 57..and when snapping in the last piece..it got dinged from the new fastener clip..

          Was I pissed!
