    62 Pad Numbers

    Hi,
    I need to know what you guys think of this 1962 , 327 engine pad. The block casting numbers are 3782870. Block cast date A282 (January 28, 1962) build date of the car is April, 27, 1962. Do the broach marks and fonts look correct? Is there to much time between casting date and final assembly of car?

      Dave, While I didn't enlarge it in my photo software (I didn't think it was necessary) Sure look like a grinder was busy on pad. It looks bad. don

          the rotary broach marks don't get it. been decked and restamped. mike
